Eucharistic Adoration
Can you keep watch with me?

The Eucharist is the source and summit of the Christian life. Since 1990 Adorers have volunteered to keep watch to ensure the Eucharist is never left unattended. Perpetual adoration is only possible with the commitment from multiple adorers within the parish community.

Would you like to sign up for an hour of adoration or do you have a group of friends or family members who would be willing to volunteer for a regular hour? Sharing the commitment can be a great way to maintain a perpetual adoration hour.

At this time, we are looking for second Adorers for the following hours:

Sundays    1-2 pm and 8-9 pm
Mondays    2-3 pm
Wednesdays    10-11 am
Thursdays    7-8 pm
Fridays        Noon-1 pm and 2-3 pm
Saturdays    9-10 am, 11 am-Noon, 1-2 pm, 2-3 pm, 8-9 pm

If you cannot commit to a specific hour, please consider adding your name to the substitute list and fill in as you are able.

For more information or to sign up for an hour, email mtorrez@mphm.com or call the church office 785-272-5590

If you cannot commit to an assigned hour but would like to spend time in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament you may visit during open hours, 7 am - 7 pm.

Due to COVID - Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament is currently in the main body of the Church.

Complete the contact form below if you would like to commit to a regularly scheduled hour.

Parish Leadership

No pastor, not even the best one, can run a parish on his own. Every pastor needs a special group of leaders who are collectively committed to helping him make the best decisions for the parish in order to bring more people to Christ and his Church

Finance Council

Advises the pastor through evaluation and consultation on the appropriate use of parish financial resources as well as funds that have been left to, or endowed to our parish by those parishioners who are deceased.

Pastoral Council

A body reflective of the diversity of the parish and its ministries. Serves in an advisory capacity to the pastor on the pastoral needs of the parish.

All are welcome!
