Christian Widow/Widower Organization (CWWO)
Social organization for widowed persons: playing cards, bingo, bunco, going to various Catholic churches for Mass and then dinner at local restaurants.
Volunteers with office skills are often needed in the Church Office.
Volunteer Monday mornings to help the Finance Office count the weekend collection.
Deaf and hard of hearing individuals are welcome to participate in parish activities. Sign Language interpreters are needed to help the deaf participate.
Knights of Columbus, Council 4254
A fraternal organization for men of the parish, 18 years and older, supporting church, community, family and youth.
Let’s Help – Noon Meal
Parishioners prepare and serve a hot meal at Let’s Help the second Tuesday of the month.
Parishioners with electrical, mechanical, plumbing, etc. skills are sometimes needed to help with the physical needs of our many buildings. You can pick your work and time schedule.
Publicize Respect Life information and facilitate the Annual 8th Grade Pro-Life Forum.
ALL women of the parish are invited to participate in fellowship, fun, service, and support of parish projects. We meet on the first Wednesday of the month, September through May. We frequently have guest speakers and potluck dinners.
Men and women parishioners prepare, donate and/or serve food for funeral dinners.
Assist couples in planning, preparing, and serving their wedding or anniversary receptions at Most Pure Heart of Mary Parish.
Women’s Fellowship Circles
Circles are smaller groups of MPHM parish women that meet for social and spiritual fellowship at times other than the monthly Women’s Fellowship general meeting.
St. Theresa’s Mission Sewing Group
We make and tie quilts for Doorstep and Let’s Help. If you can sew, or just tie a knot, we can use your help! We meet on the third Wednesday of the month, 1:30 pm and/or 6:30 pm in St. Vincent’s, 1800 SW Stone Ave. JOIN US!
Parishioners provide meals to families as needs arise (medical issues, family crisis, etc.)
