Religious Education K-12

Religious education is a life-long process for all parishioners. It does not begin and end with a school program; however, it is a partnership with parents who are the primary educators of their children. Our religious program represents s short time in a child’s life. Religious education begins in the home with a child’s family and in their surrounding community.
When children enter our catechetical program it is with open arms that we engage them to learn about their faith and spirituality to better understand the Catholic Church’s teachings. Our goal is for children to witness God’s love and to grow closer to Him in a personal relationship on their faith journey.
Our volunteer teachers and aides represent a dedicated staff that devotes many hours of their time to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ to the children. Their call to the catechetical ministry is what enables our program to carry out the will of God.
When the children leave our program, we hope it is not an end, but a beginning. We hope that in the time we have shared with each of them, that we have instilled within their heart a yearning to continue to grow in knowledge, a love for our Lord, and the strength and courage to witness to God in their everyday lives.
