Stacy Harrison is currently in her fifth year of teaching at Most Pure Heart of Mary School. This is her second year as the Resource Room Coordinator and Interventionist, she taught third grade prior to moving into her new role. She has been an educator for fifteen years, with nine of those years teaching in Topeka catholic schools. She also taught in Topeka public schools as a classroom teacher and later as an interventionist in both reading and math. Mrs. Harrison earned her undergraduate degree with Kindergarten through ninth grade endorsements in both English and Math at Washburn University. She also earned her graduate degree from Washburn University with her Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Mrs. Harrison was also recently a fellow at the Flint Hills National Writing Project 2017 Invitational Leadership Institute where she was awarded the title of National Writing Project Teacher Consultant. She is currently working with the FHNWP for monthly staff education. Mrs. Harrison enjoys working with students of every age and has a love for Catholic education and for children to develop a relationship with Christ. Stacy is married to Joe and they have four children.
