Teacher Bio

Mrs. Arnold teaches 7th Grade World Geography and Kansas History and 8th Grade United States History at Most Pure Heart of Mary. This is her 1st year teaching at Most Pure Heart, however, it is her 9th year teaching middle school Social Studies. Mrs. Arnold grew up in Topeka and attended Topeka Public Schools graduating in 2003 from Topeka West High School. Mrs. Arnold then earned her teaching degree from Washburn University where she majored in history with a minor in political science and emphasis in secondary education. She is certified to teach Social Studies 6-12th grade. At her previous teaching assignment she served as Social Studies Department Chair, 7th grade Co-Chair, member of the School Leadership Team, Behavior Intervention Team, and District Curriculum and Assessment Team for Social Studies.  In addition, she won the highest honor possible and was awarded Distinguished Staff Middle School Educator of the Year. She has an amazing husband, Matthew, who is a RN and they have two wonderful daughters, Madison who is in 2nd grade and Maci who is in Pre-K at Most Pure Heart. Mrs. Arnold is excited to be at Most Pure Heart and is looking froward to being part of her students' academic and spiritual growth.
