|Ms. Emilie Taylor is a recent graduate from Kansas State University. She graduated in the fall of 2016 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education with an emphasis in English as a Second Language. She is originally from Hays, Kansas, where she attended Catholic schools for 12 years. This is where Miss Taylor received a passion and love for Christ and His Church. Having attended Catholic schools for many years, Miss Taylor grew to appreciate the need for Catholic schools to enrich students in faith and learning. Once discovering a passion for teaching, teaching in a Catholic school became a top priority for Miss Taylor. She is especially excited to share her love of God’s mercy and holy communion through the sacraments in second grade. Both of Miss Taylor’s parents are retired educators at the secondary level. Her mother was a counselor for 28 years and principal for 2 years. Her father was an industrial technology teacher for 33 years. Her passion for education came from watching her parents thrive in teaching. She is hoping to live on in their legacy by becoming an engaged, faith-filled, caring, and energetic teacher.|
I'm looking forward to a great year.
